Prayer against spirit of suicide And mind attack
I WILL NOT DIE; INSTEAD, I WILL LIVE TO TELL WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE - PSALM 118:17
Beloved, the enemy is always set on taking away your life from childhood prematurely. Some people, even believers long to die so much that they often wonder why God bothered creating them at all, even to the point where it became a prayer request, because they are tired of living and have lost their hope and zeal. So … sadly it seems like the best option to the person at the time.
The truth is, many have been through experiences they’ve been unable to heal from in their own strength and therefore want to give up. This could be from a childhood wound that started to produce wrong thinking patterns and trauma manifests in strange ways. (see our trauma healing prayer)
Depression is really deep pain and grief not properly dealt with or healed. Through unresolved trauma, the enemy can enter – and he does not play fair.
Know your enemy!
Understand how the spirit of suicide operates. And yes, it is a spirit. The spirit of suicide or the spirit of death will seek to isolate its target by causing the person to believe no one cares for them or loves them. It will project evidence from past abuse, mistreatment, disappointment and hurt from others to harness this belief that ‘no one cares, so shut everyone out and end this’. The enemy is the father of lies and this could not be further from the truth. Even if people have abandoned you, you have an ABBA Father in heaven who believes in you and loves you with an everlasting love!
If you are reading this and going through it right now. We encourage you to defy that voice with all the strength you’ve got left, because when you come into agreement with this spirit, it gains legal ground to take you out. Unbeknown perhaps to you, you make a covenant with the spirit of death (grim reaper) who follows you around and influences your thought life until the day of your death, if you do not take a stand. Of course the enemy can put ideas in your head – evil spirits work in groups. As mentioned, they come in through the results of trauma and hurt such as unforgiveness and anger or bloodlines or covenants. So it is important that you forgive and repent, also for your bloodlines, surrender and ask for the grace to forgive and renounce any covenant you might have made with them. When you say for instance: “I want to die”, you make a verbal covenant. Cancel these words, repent and put them under the blood of Yeshua (see our prayer on breaking word-curses).
Many of us can relate and have struggled with this, some for years, but the Lord wants to destroy the demonic web of oppression that had come over your mind. The devil wants to kill you as an attack, not only against the purposes of God for your life, but also against your whole family. God says NO! This is not how your story ends! You shall live and not die! The Lord is drawing you out of that state of isolation and leading you to a specific person you are to open up to. The person has been graced by God to heal you and walk you through this valley. If you still feel there is no-one around, just know that Yeshua is also interceding for you daily, and you are not alone. Turn to HIM for help and ask Him to deliver you.
The Lord fights for you when you surrender to him and he releases a stern warning and command to the enemy not to touch you, for you have then come under His covering and hidden beneath His feathers. He further gives the powers of darkness a warning and commands the enemy to release what he has stolen, killed or destroyed in your life and releases fire and confusion against the camp of the enemy – but you need to surrender to Him. Choose life, turn to Yeshua (Christ Jesus) who is your defender, your shield and lifter of your head (Psalm 3:3). Give Him a chance beloved. Believe that your life has been preserved. You shall not die, but live, and you shall testify of God’s goodness in this very life!
A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. In faithfulness He will bring forth justice – Isaiah 43:2
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland – Isaiah 43:19. We declare this in faith by the Spirit to anyone who is reading this today (you can also ask a fellow believer to pray this over you)
In the mighty name of Yeshua Hammasiach (Christ Jesus), you shall live and not die! We speak into the depths of your heart now and we decree that your life cannot be taken away from you. You shall live and not die! The Lord saves, He delivers and satisfies you with a long, fulfilling life. No premature death!
In the name Yeshua (Christ Jesus), every death trap is hereby destroyed by the power of the Spirit of God and we call you out of darkness into His glorious light and love where you are becoming healed and whole. Receive the Life of God into your deepest parts. Receive healing in every damaged place within you. Receive restoration of relationships. Be healed in the name of Yeshua (Christ Jesus)!
We decree that NO WEAPON FASHIONED AGAINST YOU SHALL PROSPER AND ANY ACCUSER WHO TAKES YOU TO COURT WILL BE DISMISSED AS A LIAR! Yes! No misfortune awaits you! No calamity is in store for you! You shall live and not die! No trouble is in store for you because He is your Defense!
We also break every mind binding spirit off your life in Yeshua’s name! We command the power of witchcraft to be broken over you. We command every lie, false decree, spell and incantation to be broken. We command all mental oppression to go from you now! Witchcraft attacks go now in Yeshua’s name! We command every mind binding spirit to loose You (Matthew 18:18) now and GO NOW in the name of Yeshua Hammasiach!
According to Deuteronomy 28:6 You ARE blessed coming in and blessed going out. Every curse falls under the power of the blood of Yeshua! We decree that you have a sound mind, You think Kingdom thoughts, you dream Kingdom dreams and you imagine the King’s imaginations! According to Philippians 2:5 You have the mind of Christ.
You are saturated in peace and protection. We declare that you walk in the supernatural wisdom of God according to Proverbs 2:6. The Lord has provided you with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. You have a sound mind. You are free from the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name. You hear clearly, see clearly, think clearly and walk clearly. You are free! Father we thank You for Your love, peace and freedom over this life now. We worship You and praise You that he/she is free in his/her mind in the name of Yeshua Hammasiach!
LET’S PRAY TOGETHER
Yeshua, please show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever. Preserve my life and let the days of my life be prolonged. Spare my precious life from the sword and from wicked, evil men. I give my life to You and come to You for protection. Let me not be disgraced, for in You I take refuge. Add many years to my life O God! May my years span the generations! Protect my life from my enemies and from the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy. Deliver me from evil! O God who lives forever, do not take my life before its complete lifespan. Fill my life with good things and good people so I can walk in Your blueprint for my life.
The Word of God says we shall declare a thing and it shall be established for us – so I now declare spirit of suicide, spirit of death, spirit of hopelessness and despair, spirit of depression, spirit of rejection… I break my covenant with all of you! I bind you in the mighty name of Yeshua Hammasiach and command you to go back to the pit of hell as I loose myself from you forever and bind myself to the heart and love of my Father who believes in me according to Matthew 18:18
I am a daughter/son of the most High King and my life belongs to Him, therefore I will live and not die! If you mess with me, you mess with my God! I have declared it, and so shall it be. It can never be reversed! VICTORY OVER DEATH IN YESHUA.
I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that through Your sacrifice at the Cross, You have redeemed me from the power of death when you conquered death and the grave! You are the Living One! You died and You are alive forevermore, and You have the keys of death and Hades. I allow Your Precious Blood to wash, cleanse and speak over me right now. I plead Your blood Yeshua over my life, spirit, soul and body, every area of my life, family, and loved ones.
I receive an increase of Life NOW in the name of Yeshua Hammasiach and I decree that by the Wisdom of God in me, and His righteousness, my days are multiplied and the years of my life are increased. I shall not be struck down in my prime but instead flourish like the date-palm (long-lived, upright and useful). I confess and declare according to the Word of God that God is going to satisfy me with a long, enjoyable life and I will enjoy riches and honour, pleasantness and favour all around me for the rest of my long, enjoyable life.
Your word says the angel of the Lord is a guard, surrounding and defending me because I fear the Lord. The Lord is my Rock of safety where I can always hide. O God, rescue me from the power of the wicked and clutches of cruel oppressors. You alone are my hope. You have been with me from birth – from my mother’s womb You have cared for me. Lord, I believe that when You died, You carried the punishment of death on my behalf and released upon me new life at my born again experience. I refuse to live therefore, as a slave to the fear of death. You have already conquered death and You have already defeated the devil who had power over death. It is Your breath that gives me life and understanding in my spirit.
The fear of the Lord within me causes me to be wise and leads to life. It brings me into security and protection from harm. Yes, the Lord protects me from certain death, stands with me and gives me strength. And the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into His Heavenly Home. Thank You Heavenly Father because this is my reality NOW!
I choose life and reject death by obeying Your voice and I cling to YOU alone, for You are life and give me the length of my days. Thank you that You are faithful; You will strengthen me and guard me from the evil one so I will not be afraid. Thank you that you make me strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar or a bronze wall. I will stand with You against the enemy and even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff comfort me (Psalm 23).
Now, the enemy has to go. Beloved, God has so much in store for you and he believes in you. Do not entertain him any longer or give him any foothold. Upward and onwards, day by day. Yeshua will lead and guide you, so put your trust in Him.
SCRIPTURES TO STUDY
He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and He will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under His covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you – Psalm 91:3-6
He said to them, “Don’t you dare lay a hand on my anointed ones, and don’t do a thing to hurt my prophets!” – Psalm 105:15
I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore – Psalm 121
To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for His own glory – Isaiah 61:3
I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation – Psalm 91:16
Honour your father and your mother that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you – Exodus 20:12
The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short – Proverbs 10:27
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits – Proverbs 18:21
And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days – 1 Kings 3:14
Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time – Deuteronomy 4:40
But the Lord reigns forever, executing judgment from His throne. He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for You – Psalm 9:7-10
