As you draw closer in your relationship with God, you start to overthrow the demonic more and more as you break agreements and grow in your identity and revelation. After a while, the enemy cannot come near you, but will look for other avenues like a prowling lion looking who it can devour. Everyone, especially believers get demonic entities assigned to try and stop the purpose of God. You can stand in the ‘gap’ and take a stand for the freedom of your loved-ones, in fact, praying for our family is something we should do daily. Whether someone you love needs deliverance or God’s grace in a hard situation, or you simply want to bless his or her walk in life through our Lord Yeshua Hammasiach.

Firstly, understand beloved that the Lord loves us fiercely and is very protective over His own. Your loved ones are also important to Him and He knows each one of them by name and He listens to even the ‘groans’ of your spirit (Romans 26), filled with love and understanding, daily interceding for us. So, boldly approach Him as your ABBA Father as an adopted son or daughter (Romans 8) and never give up believing that Our God is the God of the impossible who specializes in restoration of families.

Secondly, ask Ruach to give you strategy with your loved ones first. There are often deep wounds in people, but our God is very strategic and can show you exactly what to pray for and what to say and also when, etc. Deliverance is often necessary, but start with yourself first, get strong and get equipped. (We encourage you to make an appointment with us for your prayer session.) The more we surrender, the more our Lord can transform and restore. Have faith beloved that prayer can change anything and that nothing is impossible for God. Never give up believing, even when it takes years, because He specializes in restoration of families.

In the meantime, let’s start here …

Lord, I commit my family to You and place them under Your authority and Your blood Yeshua. I pray that You will forgive us for our rebellion and idolatry or leaning on anything other than You. Lord will You help us to forgive ourselves and release each other, cleanse us, draw us closer with Your love and re-establish us in our identity in You. I lay it all down at Your feet and I ask in all humility that You do not deal with us according to what we deserve but according to Your grace and mercy. Thank you that Your love and blood covers a multitude of sins and that You made this possible for us. Abba will You fight for us and deliver us from any bloodline curses and covenants made by our forefathers tracing right back to Adam in Your great mercy. (Also see curse-breaking prayers) I release each and every one (you can mention names) to Your authority and guidance and I ask that You will expose anything that the enemy uses to keep us from You and walking in our blessings.

For strength and unity, Lord I thank You that You give strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29) and that we can be strong in the You and Your mighty power (Ephesians 6:10). Shine Your light upon my family today, Lord. Give us YOUR strength to overcome all of the difficulties that we are currently dealing with, and protect us against any and all problems we may encounter in future days. Lord, bring us together as we are meant to be. May the love that binds us only grow stronger as we fulfill the path and desires You have laid out before each of us. Grant my family forgiveness for any sins we have committed against one another and bring us to that place where we can Love You, Lord our God, with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our minds and with all our strength according to Mark 12:30.

Lord, I want to thank You for this precious family of mine. For the talents and good things that You have given each of us. Please keep us united, and our bond strong as the days pass. Please guide us, protect us and equip us to do Your will each and every day. Bind us to You and to each other according to Matthew 18:18 and loose us from any influencing demonic spirits or things which brings division. Thank You for all that You are, and all that You have given us. My heart is forever grateful!
